Think back to August 2020, what were you doing? You may be doing something very similar right now. Today the planet of war, action, desire, and leadership (Mars) will ingress into Aries, his dominion. Aries is the radical ram who isn’t afraid to barge through any barriers. It’s fierce, assertive, bossy, fiery, and impulsive—to a fault. This transit will go from June 26, 2022 – August 10, 2022.
Kū Season began in March, but now that Mars—which I believe has ties with the Hawaiian God, Kū—is dignified (in its sign of rulership) we are REALLY going to feel the mana (divine power) of this malefic hōkū hele (wandering star aka planet).
From a societal standpoint, this can be pretty scary with all the ratchet shit happening over on Capitol Hill, I wouldn’t be surprised if a Civil War breaks out because many people are blaming the GOP when the Dems are “in power right now.” People really need to look at this on a grander scale, because this is way bigger than the right vs the left. It’s the entity shaking a jar containing two ant colonies and watching the drama unfold. Think about who really benefits when society is in chaos. As a Native Hawaiian, we already know the haole behind the scenes are the pilikia, hoping everyone else gets the memo before they start pointing at their neighbor. Back in February, I talked about the United States of America’s Pluto Return, the patriarchy is about to fall and they’re making sure they go out with a big bang!
I digress, Mars will square Pluto which creates tension, so you could be dealing with a power struggle with another person or collective, but instead of fighting or challenging it/them, reorient things. Try to find a solution instead of taking it to the extreme. That’s not going to help anyone. This issue will arise to bring attention or add pressure to the situation so that things can be reconciled.
PROTIP TO MAKING THE MOST OF THIS TRANSIT
Start something new, and stay busy (but not in a toxic way). Hell, if you need to go on a solo mission, do it. Just make sure you are asserting yourself in your work or doing things you are highly passionate about. Anything that has been calling to you needs to be executed now. If you’re not directing this energy towards initiating and staying on your grind, it’ll turn into an argumentative, overly competitive, selfish dumpster fire. We’ve been operating out of survival mode for two and a half years, we don’t need to keep doing things this way. Don’t get distracted by the non-sense and you don’t need to rush.
If you’re a female entrepreneur and you want to connect with like-minded women, join Alphahine (my way of saying girl boss). This is our group chat via Telegram. Tomorrow we’ll be having our first power hour on Google Meet and we have a book club going, we’re reading Girl Code by Cara Alwill Leyba (peep the sidebar for a link to purchase the book).
SIDEBAR: You may experience a dramatic increase in libido.
HOW THIS COULD AFFECT YOU
First, you want to look at what hale (house) will be activated by this transit in your Sidereal Natal Chart. You can use the list below to help find keywords associated with each hale of the Zodiac. Always look up your Sidereal Rising Sign versus your Sun Sign when it comes to innerstanding how the planetary transit(s) may influence your authentic journey through life.
If you are up for a challenge, you can also look up your Luminary Signs (Sun & Moon) and combine the 3 hale to see a bigger picture.
- The hale where ka Lā (the Sun) is located will usually show the part of your life that needs outward expression. What to show the world.
- The hale where ka Malama/Mahina (the Moon) resides shows how/who you may react towards and what needs the most mālama (care).
- The hale where your Ascendant or Rising Sign is will reflect the area where you must put your focus on. This is the overall theme for this planetary transit.
